The show features 10 halls with more than 110,000 sqm of trade space along with a colourful range of A/W 10/11 trend forecasting events.

International exhibitor’s textiles will be used to reflect the A/W 10/11 trends in hall W2 including:

Embrace — Daydreams become reality, as fanciful, childlike visions are bath in romanticism and serenity.  Colours evoke a gentle and serene theme, embracing the palest naturals and subdued pastels that are accented with shadowed gray and taupe hues. Fabrics range from fur and woollen to sheer and jersey with soft sheer prints.

Anthology — Paying respect to the past, we delve deep into the aristocratic legacies.  Colours are vintage and romantic with warm and cool tones. Eclectic and comfortable fabrics ranging from tweed and jacquard to wool and corduroy, with a bohemian twist.

New World — Nature reclaims the urban landscape as forces of fate usher in a new era of practicality. Mossy greens and dusty turf hues create a juxtaposition of rural nature and urban legacies.  Fabrics include wool, nylon, twill and leather with surreal and modern inspired prints.

Clandestine— As the sun sets, shadows expose in the dark expanse of the city as a macabre sense of foreboding looms.  Dandy darks and electric bights make a bold contract in fabrics like silk, jersey, twill, suiting and lace.

Fabrics China present colourful array of themes for trends in China

A colourful forecasting forum built on Chinese style and guided by Fabrics China, is based on four themes including:

Powerful — Building structures and futuristic appearances strongly influence this theme.

Safe— Exploring the inspiration of the 1940’s infused by travels of the world in vintage & classic fabrics and patterns.

Nostalgia - Combination of 80’s chic meets European aristocracy in lace fabrics with metal embellishments.

Joking — Psychedelic visions with distorted patterns using bright and electric colours.

This trend forecast is located in hall E2 for menswear, hall E4 for ladieswear and hall E5 for casual wear & sportswear.

Additionally, an accessories display zone in hall W5 will show attendees how to properly embellish clothing designs with buttons, lace, zippers and much more.
