This is the seventh edition of China Home Textile Design Contest since 2004. 2010 edition will unveil during the InterTextile Shanghai Home Textile Fair in late August. This year, the contest takes New Chinese Style as its theme. Three sub contests constitute the whole event: 2010 Zhangjian Cup 2010 China International Home Textile Design contest, 2010 China International Home Textile Creation contest, and 2010 China International Home Textile Online Design contest.

It is reported that 263 works have entered into final contest. All those works will display in China Home Textile Network. Top 10 hand painted works and top 10 CAD works will elected by netizens. Since 2008, the original contest has been divided into design section and creation section. This attracted more participants, especially those from colleges and institutes. The contest provides a perfect platform for students to communicate with design studios and manufacturers, and help to promote the whole level of Chinese home textile design, as well as the industry upgrading.
