Shanghai Home Textiles: The Pan Home Textile Situation Mature

This year's home textile show, the towel manufacturing exhibitors grew 241% comparing to last year. And the towel section accounted for 18% of the total show space. The leading towel manufacturers like Grace and Loftex were present in this show, which became a highlight in this event. Beddings section covers 22.8% of the total show space. Shanghai Mercury returned to this show with an interval of five years. Decorativ fabrics section even takes 63% of the total space. An interesting thing is the 35% growth of wall paper companies, taking boothes as 1100 square meters. While in the past fairs, visitors barely saw wall paper companies there. It??s the first time to set such a special wall paper section. Yang said this proved the pan home textile concept was a right decision for the organizers.
Except the extension of product scope, the trade fair organizers also introduced new partner, China International Trade Center Guangzhou Exhibition Company, who had the experience in the wall paper business. With its resouceful databse, this show could better serve the pan home textile companies.
The 2010 fair will also host a series of design and trend events to illustrate the essence of home textile designs and cultures from Eastern and Western countries. The international and China??s home textiles and interior trend forums (Hall W2 and W3); A Cultural Heritage Zone in Hall E5; A series of designs and trends seminars led by leading trend forecasters from China, Hong Kong, Paris, Milan and New York.
