Two years since the success of the last China TechTextil Exhibition (CINTE) Super Absorbent Fibre (Oasis SAF) manufacturer Technical Absorbents Ltd (TAL) is gearing up for the 2010 nonwovens and Technical Textiles event. Organised by Messe Frankfurt, CINTE 2010 will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre between 19-21October.
CINTE is a highly specialised nonwoven and technical textiles trade event and the only one of its kind in China to feature 12 important applications areas. In addition, the large amount of exhibitors from throughout world helps to attract a diverse mix of visitors from China and beyond. This makes it an unbeatable platform for companies such as TAL that have a product or solution that is suited to different market sectors. This year the company will be located on stand W5C38 – a 36m2 stand close to the new registration halls.
TAL is owned by Bluestar Fibres Ltd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Bluestar (Group) Co., Ltd, which in-turn is wholly-owned by ChemChina – one of China’s fastest growing chemical groups. During the exhibition, it is looking to raise further brand awareness on a global scale, meet with new and prospective customers and ultimately expand its presence within China.
In addition to the manufacture of Oasis SAF, TAL toll manufactures nonwovens, yarns, woven fabrics and finished consumer goods – all containing Oasis SAF. This is as a result of the relationships it has built with some of the world’s leading specialist fibre converters, roll-goods producers and end product manufacturers. It is now working to develop similar networks with Asian companies in order to enhance routes to market within this region.
‘Agrotech, indutech, medtech, packtech, protech and sporttech are all applications in which Oasis SAF is used,” explains TAL Business Development Manager Mr Dave Hill. “To have the potential to promote to and meet up with individuals from all of these areas under the one roof during three days is too big of an opportunity to miss.
“Asia is of huge geographic importance to TAL. Not simply because it is owned by a Chinese company, but all of the relevant market sectors are experiencing significant growth and so the potential for Oasis SAF is huge. There is already a good understanding of the super absorbent technology in the country. However, exhibitions like CINTE allow more effective and direct communication with interested parties and so it is essential that TAL has a presence.”
The core business of Technical Absorbents Limited (TAL) is the manufacture of Oasis Super Absorbent Fibre (Oasis SAF) at its impressive UK production site. TAL is owned by Bluestar Fibres Ltd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National BlueStar (Group) Co., Ltd – which in-turn is wholly-owned by ChemChina.
