Intertextile Guangzhou Home Textiles fair from March 18
Source: Messe Frankfurt Date: 2008-11-10
After the success of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, Messe Frankfurt has joined a long-standing home textiles trade event in southern China to create Intertextile Guangzhou Home Textiles China. Organised in the spring to take advantage of a unique buying season, the show will be held from 18 - 21 March 2009 at the China Import and Export Fair, Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China.
The fair has a special advantage for home textile suppliers seeking the lucrative and fast growing market in China. The show combines seven home-related trade events into one ideal event. Under the umbrella of the "23rd China International Furniture Fair", shows will be held for textiles, home décor, outdoor leisure and more - attracting the largest collection of buyers, agents and designers to one place.
Intertextile Guangzhou Home Textiles China specifically will feature 30,000 sqm of trade space for manufacturers of bedding, wall and window textiles, floor covering and upholstery fabric. The event combines a growing market and comprehensive trade event with the professionalism for which Messe Frankfurt trade fairs are famous. More than 18,500 trade buyers, including about 20% from outside China, attended in 2008.
Guangdong - China's industrial and trade nucleus:
Guangzhou, in the southern province Guangdong, was the first part of modern China to open to international trade. The region boasts the largest GDP, industrial output, export value and retail sales of consumer goods in all of China and is adjacent to Hong Kong.
The show's venue, the Pazhou Complex, is the largest exhibition centre in China featuring 700,000 sqm of trade space in a state-of-the-art facility with convenient access to airports and hotels.
