Huanshi Town is located in the heart of the Pear River Delta and to the Southeast of Foshan City. The town covers an area of 15 sq. kilometers and has the population of 45,000 local residents and 80,000 non-residents. The town has witness the development the children's wear industry for the last 20 years that has turned into the local leading industry with the year output of RMB3.5, 81% of the total of town's all industries. More than 2,000 children's wear manufacturers now are located in the town, yearly 170 million pieces of children's wear ranging from baby wear, children's wear at various ages to youngster wear. In the circumference of 5 sq. kilometers centered from Children's Wear City in Foshan, there scatter several children's wear manufacturing zones including Gesha, Chaodong, Wenhua and Yongxin, where house nearly 2 million sq. meters' workshop for the production of children's wear, a printing city of 26,000 sq. meters equipped with advanced waste treatment systems and an accessories market covering 27,000 sq. meters. Children’s Wear Design and Research Center under China Fashion Designers Association has been located in the Huanshi Town.
