Listed among Jiangsu Top 100 towns, Sanxing town with an area of 30.3 square kilometers and a population of 37.3thousand is well known for its embroidery industry. In Dec 2002, the town was granted the title of Chinese Famous Embroidery Town of Home Textiles by China National Textile & Apparel Council and China Home Textile Industry Association.

Being the national production base for embroidery products, Sanxing in possession of more than 120 large-scaled enterprises mainly produces bedding articles such as bedspread, pillowcase, curtain, quilt and etc, more than 200 varieties, which are salable in middle and large sized cities in China, Romania, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, more than 20 countries and regions. The annual output value of the embroidery industry in Sanxing surpasses 4billion yuan and income of foreign exchange 70million USD.

Sanxing Industrial Park with an area of 7 square kilometers and total investment of 1billion yuan was taken as the example by Jiangsu provincial government in 2002 and has accommodated 91 enterprises so far.

Taking home textile industry as its footing, Sanxing local government, relying on the coordinative development of the embroidery park, home textiles park, the trading park and the consignment park, deepens the market division more professionally and emphasizes the benefits of large scale. More and more domestic and foreign enterprises are attracted to join the park for a common development.
