In the first three  months of 2007, the output of yarn of scaled enterprises amounted to 417  million tons, increased 21.59％on a year-to-date basis. The output of fabric amounted to 10.53 billion meters, increased 8.14% year to date. Total output of garments reached 40.74 billion pieces and represented an 20.52% increase year to date. Total output of chemical fiber reached 5.37 million tons, increasing by 16.88%.
