On April the 1st, the textile goods exported to Europe and America should follow the requirements of “ Bio-textiles Standard 100”. Compared with the previous version, the requirements in the new version were more strict.

Bio-textiles Standard 100 is the most widely and most authoritative influence textile standard in the world. Some domestic enterprises obtained the certification, prices of the products with a green label export to Europe and the United States are 20% higher than the similar no label products. At present the certification needs to be audited every year.

Compared to last year, 6 detection adjustments were added in harmful substances category. Such as plasticizer, in the technical specification, candidate samples were expanded from 6 to 12, and the sum of restrictions still remain 0.1%.
