 With the attendance at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, AMANN emphasizes the focus on the Asian markets. Most discussed current topics are: SabaC SabaC – a highly durable 100% polyester core spun thread – features best sewing properties and seam quality. Its full range of sizes, colors, and strengths qualifies SabaC for almost every application. Serafil Serafil is synonymous with sewing thread made from strong, durable, hightenacity polyester continuous filaments. Serafil meets the high standards of seam quality, seam strength, and seam appearance. It is also available in water repellent finishing (WR). SabaTEX SabaTEX is the bulk polyester yarn for versatile use. Its softness, volume and bulkiness provide a most pleasant seam and excellent coverage. Ideally suited for overedged seams and as looper and cover thread for cover seams. LIFECYCLE THREADS Consequently AMANN takes advantage of all opportunities for the ongoing optimisation of the eco-balances in its sewing and embroidery thread products. The new brand AMANN LIFECYCLE THREADS, which has been launched recently, covers a completely new product range – articles made of 100% recycled polyester. A sewing thread made of organic cotton will soon be presented to the market under the LIFECYCLE brand too. N-tech CS This thread completes the TechX programme providing a flame retardant, non-melting and self-extinguishing product which resists to high temperatures. The disintegration point is settled at 370°C. It can be used as both a sewing and embroidery thread and is available in ticket sizes 70 (embroidery ticket 30) and 80/2 (embroidery ticket 40 as bobbin thread). Extended ISACORD Colour Range The colour range for ISACORD – the multi-tasking talent machine embroidery thread – has been enlarged by 45 to more than 400 colours. This well developed embroidery thread is trend setting not only because its versatility, it also proves its reliability in applications at rentable wear and drying in the tunnel finisher. ISAFIL 40 – return of a classic Starting with 110 bright and brilliant basic colours AMANN offers to rayon lovers an article with reasonable price for shiny and high-fashion embroideries. Pre-wound bobbins ISABOB “Meet the future today” – under this credo AMANN welcomes a new member in its embroidery thread range: ISABOB. ISABOBs are pre-wound bobbins for machine embroidery which create remarkable time savings by eliminating the work step ‘self winding’ and by the higher yield.
