Source: CTEI Date: 2010-09-06
From a general view of the series exhibitions organized by CNTAC this year, they could be regarded as three movements. InterTextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo (spring/summer), and CHIC in March, as well as the ITMA-ASIA in June were the first movement of this year. They had made successful conclusion already. The InterTextile Shanghai Home Textiles, Yarn Expo (fall/winter) and China Knitting Fair in mid of August were the second movement. While InterTextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and CINTE-Techtextil in Oct will be the third movement for this year, and they under appropriate preparation.
Three exbitions opening at the same time reflect the quick recovery of Chinese textile industry in the post crisis era. Xu Yingxin said the total exhibition area reached 115,000 square meters, up 11.7% from the same period last one. The exhibitors also grew 11.5% to 1071. Watching the product categories, new products joined this show, especailly decorative fabrics and towels.
A new trend in this show is the extension of wider scope. A non-textile zone established, including non-textile curtains, beddings, decoratives and wall-coverings. Most leading Chinese home textile manufacturers and the home textile industry clusters participated this show actively. It??s a real grand gathering of this industry.
