According to Dalian Customs, the textile export was 290 million USD, up 2.1% year over year, or up 9.8% from a month ago. The accumulated export of textile in first half was 1.58 billion USD, down 3.7% from a year ago.

The textile industry is under impact from global financial crisis. The export reduced 20.5% in Feb. in Dalian customs. Thanks to the adjustment of export tax rabate, the export turned to positive growth in May, up 0.8%. It was the second positive growth in June and seemed to rebound.
