Hongdou plans massive store expansions

| Mr. Zhou Ming Jiang, chairman of Hongdou Industry said that the company plans to expand its number of stores to 3,500 in 2-3 years time and all put together they are expected to deliver cumulative annual revenue of 3.5 billion Yuan. It is reported that from the beginning of the second half of 2008, Hongdou began to change its sales model and strategy by building a nationwide chain of stores through introducing a combination of company owned and franchisee stores. Currently the number of its stores is about 400. In addition, Hongdou is also trying sales through e-commerce and it believes that e-commerce revenues will exceed sales revenues derived from stores in next 5-10 years. | |
