“Cooperation, Development and Fair Trade”, this is the most impressive catchword heard during this March when the organization committee carries out the concrete work for the preparation of the global event. As the major theme of the forum, it has attracted hundreds of participants who are engaged in the global textile and apparel industry to gather in Beijing these two days, for the forum’s opening at Diaoyutai State Guest House Beijing on March 27, next Monday.

According to sources from the organization committee, 20 speakers have finished the speech outlines and been ready to show their wisdom and glamour on the Chinese stage. The presence of Mr. Xu Kuangdi, Vice Chairman of CPPCC, and Minister Bo Xilai, Ministry of Commerce of China no doubt highlights this event. And the addresses of other honorable speakers, respectively from countries or regions including India, Germany, France, South Korea, Egypt, Finland, Denmark, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Taiwan province, Hong Kong and from some international organizations such as WTO, ITCB, and International Labor Force Office for China and Mongolia, are equally worthy of anticipating. Mr. Du Yuzhou, President of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) who is the host of this gathering, will deliver a keynote speech as usual.

It is estimated that the attendees will reach 300-400 people, of which nearly 100 are overseas friends including officers from certain embassies and consulates. Domestic representatives from textile associations, China’s textile industrial clusters and textile companies will never miss the perfect opportunity for international exchange and communication, either.

On the night of March 26, CNTAC will sponsor a gala show and reception dinner to welcome these friends from home and abroad at Diaoyutai State Guest House Beijing. Performance full of Chinese culture is supposed to bring every guest a wonderful evening.
