According to the news of China Central Government website on 10 inst., China’s State Information Center chief economist Fan Jianping was quoted as saying that China's economy would not recover until 2010, as it needs time for government stimulus policies to take effect. The economist at the apex government think-tank made the remarks at a forum in Changchun, capital of the Northeastern Jilin Province on same day.
