The First China (Chongqing) Apparel Market Expansion Expo jointly held by China General Chamber of Commerce and Chongqing Municipal People's Government is scheduled to open from Sept. 5th to Sept. 9th this year at Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street in Jiangbei District, Chongqing.

The Expo is held in response to the transfer trend of China garment industry to central and western China. It is planned to enhance the cooperation and create a win-win situation between the apparel industries in Chongqing and costal cities by holding Chinese Apparel Industry and Market in Western China Development Summit, China Apparel Brands' Fashion Release, ceremony of sister markets between eastern and western regions and fair for manufacturers in coastal cities and in western of China. It may also be achieved by establishing a cooperation platform between the eight professional apparel markets in coastal cities and Chongqing, accelerating the transfer process for apparel enterprises in developed cities to move to western of China and creating a win-win situation.
