At the conference center of  Kunlun Hotel in Beijing this morning, the 77th IWTO Congress officially opened.

During the opening session, Mr. Du Yuzhou, President of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) made an address following the opening speech made by Mr. Gunther Beier, IWTO President.

With its theme of  “Wool -- The Environmentally Friendly Fibre”,  the congress lasts from April 13 to 16, providing a wonderful platform for growers, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from both China and overseas to communicate and seek for cooperation.

This year also celebrates the 10th anniversary of China Wool Textile Association (CWTA) joining in IWTO on behalf of the China’s wool textile industry which  has made significant progress over the last decade.
