Exhibitor Statements
Umesh Sharma, Export Manager for Lucky Spinning, Thailand said: "We're a big supporter of Yarn Expo. We want to meet Chinese customers. This show has become an international hub as everyone is looking to do business in China. Our aim was to meet existing customers, meet new customers and raise awareness of our business."
"We have been here a few times. I found this year's show very good. Many people have shown interest in our products and we have met more international buyers. Even though we have been in the China market for a long time, it is important to be here to see our regular customers as well as make new contacts. We need to be here to let our clients know that we are in the market. I think we will come back to Yarn Expo Shanghai next year."
Mr. Jean-Christophe Ponsin, Commercial Director of Novalin France.
"This is our first time at this show. We came here to reach the Asian market, particularly China, because the Far East is the centre of the textile business in the world. We have met potential new customers, mostly international buyers, and existing customers. We are planning to exhibit again next year."
Nicola Sansour, Director Manager of Textiles del Sur SAC, a Peruvian yarns company
"Yarn Expo is a good exhibition and the results of attending have been very good. Shanghai is an important place for the industry as there are many garment manufacturers around. We have made a lot of new acquaintances at the show."
Mr. J.P. Jain, Vice President of T T Limited, India.
