China is the main market for the French textile machinery manufacturers. In 2005, French exports nearly reached Euros 100 million (a slight decrease compared with 2004) accounting for 10 % of global French exports in this sector.
UCMTF, the French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association, will again group 7 companies in a booth located in Hall 4.
N. Schlumberger, Asselin-Thibeau (NSC Nonwoven), Ebelmann, Fil Control, Superba and AESA Air Engineering will be joined by new UCMTF’ member Dollfus and Muller.
This company is a manufacturer of key spare parts such as open mesh conveyors belts and endless felts for dryers, calendering, sanforizing and decatizing machines.
“What is important, in China”, says Evelyne Cholet, UCMTF’s Secretary General, “is not only to have close, permanent relationships with the customers but also to advise them on industry trends and new promising products”.
This 2006 edition of Citme will be the last as such as starting in 2008, it will join ITMA Asia to form” ITMA Asia+Citme 2008” which will move to Shanghai.
