Intertextile Pavilion at Shenzhen opened

for three days from 8 July 2010 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre, Southern China’s premier industry event – Intertextile Pavilion at Shenzhen – opens with 250 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. More than 11,000 professional buyers across the apparel industry chain from designers and retailers to garment manufacturers and buying offices are anticipated to source products in hall 6 on 7,500 sqm of trade space. Special areas to highlight regional expertise For the first time this year, 11 companies from Korea will group together under the special Korea Pavilion, which is co-organised by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI). Exhibitors will showcase all kinds of fabrics including cottons, fur materials, man-made, knitted, wovens plus many other materials. An additional country focus is a Japan Zone that returns after its successful debut in 2009. Japanese suppliers participating this year, specialise in ladieswear fabrics made with cotton, man-made fibres, among many other materials. One trip for the cost of four industry events Another feature of the fair is the benefit from the crossover of suppliers and the vast range of products on display with several concurrent industry events. These include the China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair, Shenzhen International Maternity & Clothing Fair and the 2010 Shenzhen International Leather & Fur Fashion Expo plus fashion week in Hong Kong, which is only an hour away from Shenzhen.
