Intertextile Pavilion, 9 – 11 July 2009 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre in Shenzhen, is a special event that allows textile manufacturers a direct opportunity to meet thousands of garment producers in the industry-rich region of Southern China.

The show is a key feature of the Shenzhen International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair and allows exhibitors to meet many quality buyers. In 2008, the Intertextile Pavilion attracted 11,000 trade buyers – nearly a 70% rise over 2007. Much of this rise was attributed to buyers from China and across Asia. The show featured 220 suppliers in 8,500 sqm of trade space.

Fashion season in southern China
Intertextile Pavilion takes place during one of the region’s hottest fashion seasons. In addition to the International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair, which includes the largest fashion show in Asia, the show takes place during the same week as Hong Kong Fashion Week, one hour to the south of Shenzhen.

Together these events bring top designers and brands from around the world to the region to present thousands of new garments and designs. As the only textile show during these events, Intertextile Pavilion is pivotal for buyers hoping to source new materials during the fashion season.

Intertextile Pavilion is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT;

and Shenzhen Asia-Pacific Fashion Exhibition Co Ltd. http://interstoff.messefrankfurt.com.
