Texworld will be holding its 23rd show at the Paris Le Bourget Exhibitions Park from Monday the 22 to Thursday the 25 September 2008.

More than 900 exhibitors from all over the world will unveil their collections of fabrics, accessories and clothing for international buyers, note that more than 86% of visitors to the Show are international.

Texworld is more than just an event. The greatest concentration of international exhibitors in Europe.

The Show brings together the greatest concentration in Europe of exhibitors from Asia, and in particular, in September, Chinese clothing manufacturers, who for the second year will be exhibiting the best Chinese ready-mades at the CTAF, the Chinese Fabrics and Ready-to-wear Industry’s Show.

You will have the opportunity to meet a big delegation of textile and clothing managers led by the Government’s No.2 for the industry, the dynamic and very approachable Zhang Yankai, Vice-President of CNTAC and Executive Vice Chairman of CCPIT-Tex.

It will also be an opportunity for you to extend your direct contacts with players in Asia (from China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Turkey and elsewhere) who will now be playing a leading role in the world clothing textiles business.

Especially come and meet textile industry managers from the largest Indian groups such as Arvind Mills, Reliance, etc. Creative good quality fabrics and clothing at the most competitive prices.

Western consumers faced with recession and reduced purchasing power will more than ever be looking for luxury, quality and comfort at the best prices. Buyers will find products offering the best price/quality ratio on the market at Texworld.

Wide open doors for young international designers. After having set up i TEX a very high-powered search service for products available at the Show (because it provides not only the source, composition and uses for particular fabrics, but price ranges and delivery times too) Texworld is continuing to provide specific services through attractive original activities: the promotion of young fashion school graduates and new designers.

This helps young designers and exhibitors or visitors from far-away countries lacking their own stylists and a grasp of western fashion to meet and make contact.

The Show opens its doors to creative young designers and offers them a free Designers & Fashion space so that they can all show their own collections of mens’, womens’ and children’s clothing or fashion accessories.

10 international designers have been selected on the basis of specific criteria: training, dynamism, creativity, the production of at least one first collection, and international ambition.

Come and seek out tomorrow’s talents!. Esmod Beijing, the stylists’ and designers’ college, will also be presenting its first wholly Chinese promotion and its work: some forty designs made using fabrics provided by Texworld’s exhibitors.
